About CHA in the Media
The Coalition of Hispanic Artists have been featured in community initiatives, exhibitions, and cultural programming supporting Hispanic and local artists.
CHA Art Gallery at Kress Contemporary
CHA Art Gallery was located at 1624 E. 7th Ave. Tampa, FL 33605, in the Kress Contemporary Building, second floor. The gallery was active from April 2025 to April 2026 and is no longer in operation.
During its time at the Kress Contemporary in Ybor City, CHA Art Gallery served as a vibrant space dedicated to celebrating Hispanic artists, community engagement, and contemporary visual culture.
The gallery presented a series of curated exhibitions featuring emerging and established artists, highlighting themes of identity, heritage, storytelling, and creative expression. These exhibitions included group shows, solo presentations, and collaborative projects that brought together diverse artistic voices from the local and regional art community.
CHA also hosted community-centered programming such as artist receptions, cultural gatherings, author encounters, and pop-up events that encouraged dialogue between artists and the public. These events often included live interactions, readings, and collaborative activities that strengthened the connection between art and community.
