Please read and carefully consider the following details and guidelines for the IMAGINE Art Competition 2018 before submitting your art work.
Photography and painting will be evaluated by a different jury and they will not compete against each other.
All entrants must adhere to the following guidelines:
Each entry must be based on this year’s theme: Roots
Dead Line for entries 08-20-2018
Cost to enter $25 by the first 3 art work (Additional $5)
All art work must be taken in your origin country or represent your culture.
No Nudes – No degrading or offensive subjects.
No sign or water mark on pictures
Entrants in photography may use digital image manipulation (e.g. Photoshop) if they desire.
If you include any copyrighted content in your photos (e.g. posters, brand-name props), you must be able to provide written permission for its use. Entries containing any unauthorized content will be disqualified.
All entries must be submitted online (including uploading of your art work) or can be send to miramartphotography.com including your full information (name, address, phone number) and information about the art work( Title, date and place of the artwork was created, size, technique)
Painting no longer of 30” on largest size
Recommended Dimensions of pictures for upload or e mail: 800 pixels on the longest side at 300 dpi.
File Size: JPEGs should be under 1 MB in size. (photographers save your raw image for future print or jury requirements)
The Winner’s artwork should be suitable for displaying in a public environment. (Photography printed by the artist ( 30″ in largest side) in a high quality print on paper semi-gloss or mate and framed)
The finalist of each categories will be contacted via email by August 22/2018 and will be showing at Kotler Art Gallery from September 04 to November 3/2018
Installation Day Friday September 02/2018
The winners will be announced on the Event Day Saturday, October 20, 2018

In order for your entry to be valid, you must submit it using the online entry system on this website, including:
Completing the online entry form, including a short written statement about how you have addressed the theme and
specify Category.
Uploading your photographs.
Please ensure you submit a valid email address with your entry.

Judging
This year’s judges will be announced later in the year.
The judges may disqualify an entry if they have reason to believe that it does not comply with the entry Terms and Conditions, so make sure you have read them thoroughly!
